This is an original oil painting featuring 6 geese, a violet, and the word "Gaggle". This painting is the inspiration for a series I plan to work on called "Simple Words". In this series I plan to create paintings depicting subjects and a word or words that relate (for me, at least) to friends and family and what brings us together.
My group of college girlfriends is affectionately referred to as the "Gaggle" because when we get together, we are "as loud as a gaggle of geese" - I think most girls can relate to that.
"The Gaggle" is on a 40"w X 60"t stretched canvas with the edges painted a dark brown.
